- The Women & Girls Index has been published annually since 2019. The next installment of data for the WGI is planned for October 8, 2024.
- The LGBTQ+ Index was created and launched in May 2023, and will be updated annually.
- The BIPOC Index is in development, and is scheduled to launch in late 2024.
- The Military Veterans Index is in the planning stages, and is scheduled to launch in 2025.
The Equitable Giving Lab is being developed with funding from Google.org.
Additional funding partners are welcome to join this groundbreaking initiative. Funding will allow the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy to enhance the Equitable Giving Lab in a number of ways, including examining intersectionality, expanding the research to include other under-resourced communities, providing more practitioner-oriented materials, and expanding the reach of the Lab to influence giving behaviors. The Equitable Giving Lab will serve as the gold standard for understanding the current funding landscape and where gaps exist. The COVID-19 pandemic, along with the movement for racial justice, brought renewed attention to vast disparities among diverse populations. Measuring the scale of under-investment in specific communities is the next step needed to better align resources with society’s most urgent needs.
